Description
Radiation Oncology Associates, Ltd. is recruiting for a full-time position in Green Bay and a newly posted position located in Milwaukee, WI.
ROA is a large independent Midwestern single-specialty private practice group (18 physicians) with well-established and stable partnerships with the area’s leading health systems. We are a group that emphasizes democratic governance, fostering equality and cooperation among our members. All physicians are encouraged to participate in peer review, clinical research, outcome studies, and the business issues of the group. New physician members are expected to become a full partner in the group after three full-time years of satisfactory employment. All members are given frequent feedback to ensure that our performance standards are maintained, and our group culture is adopted. Physicians are mentored in our professional value system, which emphasizes excellent patient care, leadership skills in running departments, collegial relations with referring physicians and hospital staff, and group camaraderie. We offer a highly supportive work environment and work as a cooperative whole, rather than competing individuals.
Our group has a successful record of providing strong medical leadership to our partner institutions and radiation oncology departments. We coordinate with other medical specialists to strengthen the oncology service line. We apply routine and specialized procedure skills for the treatment of our cancer patients and pursue the acquisition of new techniques shown to be clinically effective. We encourage active participation in clinical research.
One position is located in the Green Bay area, which offers many safe and affordable midsize communities in Northeast Wisconsin where there is a thriving economic base of industry and business. There are many types of cultural, dining, sporting, educational, and outdoor opportunities. This area allows a convenient daily lifestyle, yet easy access to larger city amenities in Milwaukee and Chicago.
The newly posted position is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a robust community-based practice within the Aurora Health Care system. The opportunity is located at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, which has state-of-the-art technology in a patient focused program located at the quaternary health care facility. Ideally applicants will have training in brachytherapy techniques and an interest in lung and head & neck cancer treatments. Milwaukee is the largest city in Wisconsin, with a metro area population of 1.5 million. It is an affordable city on the western shoreline of Lake Michigan offering a thriving culture and arts scene, diverse restaurants, museums, professional sports and many opportunities for outdoor activities, making it an attractive area to live and raise a family.
We offer an excellent working environment, competitive compensation, a generous retirement plan, bonus, CME allowance and relocation support. https://roanetwork.com/
