- Partnership Track Position at Radiation Oncology Associates of the National Capital Region

Radiation Oncology Associates of Northern Virginia is a dynamic, forward-thinking group of fifteen Radiation Oncologists and seven APPs in the metropolitan Washington DC/Northern Virginia area that seeks to add an additional experienced radiation oncologist. We offer cutting-edge treatments including Proton therapy, IMRT/IGRT with gating, HyperArc, CyberKnife robotic SRS/SBRT, advanced HDR/LDR brachytherapy, TBI, IORT, TSET and a broad suite of other specialized radiation oncology services. Our practice is comprised of 5 centers across Northern Virginia with a recently opened comprehensive cancer center which includes a 2-room proton therapy facility at our flagship site at the Inova Schar Cancer Institute. This position will likely be a blended practice at one or more of our state-of-the-art satellite facilities.
Our practice is the premier independent radiation oncology practice in the mid-Atlantic and enjoys an academic level of site-specific depth and multidisciplinary care while still reaping the benefits of a large, collaborative private practice environment. We enjoy collaboration with world-class medical and surgical oncologists as well as opportunities to participate in the education of medical residents, fellows and UVA medical students. All physicians in our practice carry commensurate faculty titles at the UVA School of Medicine. Significant opportunities exist for future growth and expansion as well as clinical research. Our practice is in an ideal location with served by the nationally ranked Fairfax County Public Schools and <10 miles outside of Washington, DC with close proximity to highly desirable suburbs in Northern Virginia and Maryland.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be energetic, exceptionally well-trained, and possess excellent communication and program building skills. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience/expertise in prostate HDR brachytherapy and proton therapy. We offer a competitive salary, generous benefits and paid time off.
Additional Requirements:
- 1+ years of post-residency clinical experience, although truly exceptional 2026 or 2027 graduates will be considered
- Board certification or board eligibility in Radiation Oncology
- 3-5 References (upon request)
- Impeccable clinical, collaborative, leadership and communication skills
