- Part-Time/Pool Radiation Oncologist
Description
The Permanente Medical Group is seeking a part-time/pool radiation oncologist to join our collegial and collaborative Radiation Oncology team at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara Medical Center in Northern California.
This position offers a flexible schedule of approximately two to three days per week. The physician will provide comprehensive radiation oncology care, including new-patient consultations, treatment planning, on-treatment management, follow-up care, and participation in multidisciplinary cancer care. The practice includes modern radiation therapy technology and a broad range of disease sites and treatment techniques, including IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS.
This is an excellent opportunity for a radiation oncologist seeking a flexible clinical role within an integrated health care delivery system. The physician will work closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, nurses, and multidisciplinary oncology colleagues.
Santa Clara is located in the heart of Silicon Valley, with convenient access to San Francisco, the Pacific Coast, and the many cultural and outdoor attractions of Northern California.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited radiation oncology residency
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Radiation Oncology
- Eligible for an unrestricted California medical license
- Eligible for appointment to the medical staff of Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara Medical Center
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care
