Description
We are seeking a skilled licensed massage therapist to join our team on Fridays and Saturdays. The ideal candidate can offer individualized treatments tailored to each client’s specific needs, using modalities including deep tissue, cross fiber friction, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, and dynamic restructuring. While prior experience in treatment work is preferred, we are open to training therapists who are eager to learn and grow with us. We are a small, team-oriented clinic that values professionalism, communication, and a strong work ethic. Our compensation is competitive and negotiable, depending on experience.
Who we are:
Ai Zen is a scientifically based bodywork massage clinic owned by Rod and Elaine Diehm since 2012. Rod has been practicing since 1992 and taught massage for 25 years at Brian Utting School of Massage in Seattle and at Everest Institute/Ashmead College. He is passionate about dynamic restructuring bodywork and continues to train the staff in the techniques he has practiced and developed throughout his career. We are excited to bring on new team members and grow in our ability to provide the highest quality bodywork for our clients.

Hours: Friday & Saturday, Morning and afternoon shifts available
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 depending on experience.
Gratuities are not included in your hourly rate
Requirements
Qualifications for Licensed Massage Therapist:
- Currently licensed in the State of Oregon with personal liability insurance
- Have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Have excellent palpation skills
- Perform 60, 90 and 120-minute treatment massages
- Write accurate chart notes for each client
- Willingness to learn and develop your skill set to perform our Ai Zen techniques
- Reset treatment room within a 15-minute turnaround time
- Take payments and book appointments as needed
- Communicate effectively with clients and coworkers
- Work well in a team setting
- Bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
