Monument Health Neuroscience Center in Rapid City is looking for a full-time Neurologist with fellowship training in Movement Disorders.
We are looking for a Movement Disorders specialist to join a well-established outpatient group practice with one Movement Disorders specialist and a need for 1-2 more. This is a fulfilling hospital-employed position in a collegial group environment, with an emphasis on work-life balance. Inpatient neurology needs are provided by a fully-staffed 24 hour Neurohospitalist service.
The Neuroscience Center is located at the main MH Rapid City campus, a busy tertiary care center that serves a 5-state region. It includes a 12-bed regional sleep center, 24/7/365 Neurohospitalists and Neurointerventionalist services. Join a comprehensive outpatient neurology service line that includes multiple fellowship trained subspecialists: 3 epileptologists (with an active EMU), 1 movement disorder specialist, 1 neuroimmunologist, 2 sleep specialists, 1 neurophysiologist, 1 neuroophthalmologist, and several generalists. Actively recruiting for additional outpatient neurologists, including headache medicine specialists and a neuromuscular specialist. Neurosurgical treatment for movement disorders is available from a neurosurgeon with fellowship training in functional neurosurgery. In addition, we have full-time neuropsychology services available. We are currently certified as a Primary Stroke Center with thrombectomy capability, and we are working towards Comprehensive Stroke Center status, Level III epilepsy center status, and certification in movement disorder and epilepsy surgery.
Base salary of $425K. Productivity bonus incentive opportunities start from day one. Starting and retention bonuses of $142K. Other benefits include relocation assistance, CME reimbursement, paid malpractice, and a full benefits package.
