Description
Monti Institute is seeking an experienced, autonomous Licensed Massage Therapist (1099 Independent Contractor) to provide specialized clinical bodywork within our physician-led medical spa.
Our practice integrates medical aesthetics, functional wellness, and targeted symptom relief. You will have direct access to an established stream of physician-referred clients seeking non-pharmacological interventions for chronic conditions, post-injury rehabilitation, and athletic recovery.
Primary Focus Areas
Migraine & Cervicogenic Headache Relief: Targeted decompression of suboccipitals, cervical spine, TMJ, and shoulder girdle.
Craniosacral Therapy (CST): Gentle fascial and cranial evaluation to address autonomic nervous system dysregulation, chronic headaches, and central tension patterns.
Sports & Performance Massage: PNF stretching, myofascial release, and deep tissue protocols tailored to active clients and injury prevention.
Contractor Responsibilities
Independently assess client condition, intake history, and physician notes to formulate customized treatment sessions.
Administer professional, high-level therapeutic bodywork within your designated modalities.
Maintain independent, timely SOAP notes or treatment records for cross-disciplinary continuity of care.
Manage your own schedule using our integrated booking and EHR platform.
Commission / Split: Competitive percentage split per service 60/40% and 100% of earned tips.
Turnkey Facility: Fully equipped private treatment suite featuring hydraulic tables, towel warmers, and basic sanitation supplies,
Flexible Scheduling: Freedom to establish your own availability and block out preferred booking windows.
Requirements
Active, unencumbered State Massage Therapy License.
Active Professional Liability / Malpractice Insurance (minimum $1M/$3M limits).
Formal training or certification in Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a plus but not required and Sports / Clinical Orthopedic Massage
Working knowledge of cranial anatomy, cervical mechanics, and neurovascular entrapment sites.
Ability to operate independently as a registered business entity (LLC or Sole Proprietorship) with a valid EIN/TIN.
