Description
Medical Oncologist needed in Georgia for an outpatient clinic with a defined call rotation and no hematology service. You will see adult medical oncology patients in Epic, with acute leukemia and BMT transferred out.
Practice Setting
- Outpatient medical oncology clinic, adult patient population
- Clinic volume averages 15 to 20 patients per day, mix of new consults and follow ups
- Epic EMR
- No hematology coverage, acute leukemia and BMT are transferred out
Schedule
- Clinic schedule is four days per week, either Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday
- Clinic hours are 8a to 5p
- Weekday night call included in the rotation, covers hospital calls during the week
- Weekend call is one weekend per month, Friday at 5p through Monday at 8a
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Hematology Oncology
- Georgia medical license required, Open to IMLC Physicians
- Comfortable practicing outpatient medical oncology with hospital call coverage as scheduled
