Intensivist Nocturnist, Danbury Hospital-Danbury, CT
The Northwell Health Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine is seeking an Intensivist Nocturnist at Danbury Hospital. Fellowship training and Board Certification in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine are required. Shifts will be 8PM-8AM, 10 shifts a month.
Danbury Hospital Established in 1885, Danbury Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital providing Greater Danbury area residents convenient access to exceptional care. Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. New Milford Hospital is a community hospital serving the residents of the greater Litchfield County area in Connecticut for the past 100 years.
Danbury, Connecticut, located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains and on the border of New York State, is about 60 miles northeast of New York City and 60 miles west of Hartford, CT. As part of the greater NY metropolitan area, the city of Danbury enjoys both proximity to New York City culture and access to a wide array of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, fishing and boating in state and regional parks and preserves. Danbury is home to Western Connecticut State University as well as a number of historical sites, museums, theaters and art galleries. Surrounded by a number of quaint and scenic towns, the area offers a variety of excellent housing and highly rated public and private school options.
