The Yale Comprehensive Movement Disorders Center (co-directed by Drs. Veronica Santini and Clemens Scherzer) boasts world-class faculty who deliver holistic, patient-centered care that optimizes the human experience seamlessly integrated with precision research that advances identification of drivers of disease progression and therapeutics that lead to a cure. As part of that mission, we recognize the importance of autonomic disorders as they relate to movement disorders and the significant impact these disorders have on patients’ quality of life. Outside of movement disorders, we consider autonomic neurology a fundamental specialty in the care of all neurology patients and this expertise vital for an academic department of neurology.
