Community Care Veterinary Specialists - Meadowbrook
Company Overview
Welcome to CCVS
Our Mission: Taking care of pets and the people who care for them, when they need it most.
We believe all pets deserve access to medical care and we strive to meet people where they are. We believe in the good hearts of veterinary professionals. It’s only through strong relationships that a community works together to provide the range of care that improves the lives of animals and their families.
CCVS features a collaborative care model that is designed to offer an unparalleled level of service while supporting general medicine veterinarians, with a goal of creating the best individualized care for our patients.
Our Core Values:
Courage: Courage is the ability to move forward, even when something feels difficult or uncertain.
At CCVS, courage means:
Speaking up when something isn’t right.
Asking for help when you need it.
Taking on challenges instead of avoiding them.
It might take courage just to start your first day. That’s okay! There will be new skills to learn and new situations to navigate, but we encourage you to embrace those moments and trust that growth comes from stepping outside your comfort zone.
Growth Mindset: Growth and courage go hand in hand.
At CCVS, we believe:
Learning never stops.
Mistakes are opportunities, not failures.
Improvement happens with time and effort.
You may be learning new technical skills, building confidence in client communication, or finding ways to manage stress in this fast-paced field. No matter where you are in your journey, we value progress over perfection—as long as you keep moving forward.
Respect: Every team member, patient, and client deserves to be treated with dignity and kindness.
Respect means:
Valuing different perspectives and experiences.
Communicating professionally and constructively.
Understanding that our clients often come to us during stressful moments, and responding with patience and empathy.
A culture of respect allows us to work better together, solve problems more effectively, and create a positive workplace for everyone.
Gratitude: We are grateful for our patients, clients, and team.
At CCVS, gratitude means:
Appreciating each other’s hard work and dedication.
Recognizing the trust our clients place in us.
Finding moments—even on tough days—to reflect on the impact we make.
Veterinary medicine is challenging, but it is also deeply rewarding. We take the time to acknowledge and appreciate the work we do and the people we do it with.
Collaboration: Veterinary medicine is a team effort. No one can do this job alone.
Collaboration means:
Working together across departments to provide the best patient care.
Partnering with referring veterinarians and clients to develop treatment plans.
Supporting each other—because when one of us succeeds, we all succeed.
We believe we are stronger together. Every role, every voice, and every effort matters.
As a Business in this Community:
At our core, we are dedicated to fostering a strong sense of community in our work. Supporting people and empowering local businesses is an integral part of our mission. We believe the best veterinary patient care is provided through close collaboration with the many exceptional veterinary care providers in our area. Likewise, we recognize that the best client experience is achieved by working in tandem with the remarkable local veterinarians that surround us. By fostering these collaborations, we strive to create a comprehensive and enriching experience for both our patients and clients in a way that also supports the local veterinary community.
We offer flexible services, from consultations to primary case management, to accommodate a variety of client needs and budgets. Our focus is on being accessible to both clients and community practitioners, fostering collaboration and delivering the best possible care.
As an Employer in this Community:
We foster a team-oriented environment where all members are treated with respect and camaraderie. Our priority is to create an inclusive atmosphere where people can feel accepted for who they are, and know that we are grateful for the unique contributions they bring to the table. We strive to live our values and lead by example, practicing what we preach. We hold our technical team in high regard, recognizing the significant value they bring to our organization. Encouraging both professional and personal growth is a key priority for us, and we actively invest in supporting their development. We understand that everyone has flaws and imperfections, and our approach is to acknowledge and learn from them, building a culture of forgiveness and growth.
We value and invite open and honest communication. We encourage and welcome feedback from all team members and local partners, as we believe it is crucial for continuous improvement. By embracing feedback, we aim to identify areas where we are making a positive impact and where we may be falling short, enabling us to make necessary adjustments and drive meaningful change to improve the services we provide to our patients, their families, and the veterinary community.
