Position Overview

At the nationally recognized Mind and Motion Developmental Centers of Georgia, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care to children, families, and select adults. We are seeking a Pediatric Clinical Neuropsychologist/Psychologist to join our dynamic team in a part-time to full-time capacity.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary clinical team to provide comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations using state-of-the-art assessment tools, clinical interviews, and family history intakes. Services may be conducted in person, virtually via telehealth, or in a hybrid combination, according to clinical needs and your professional discretion.

You will have the opportunity to provide psychotherapy, supervise psychometrists or designated staff, and ensure timely completion and review of psychological reports. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) system, collaborating with administrative staff for seamless scheduling and billing, and upholding the highest standards of HIPAA compliance and professional ethics. You will also be expected to meet billable service requirements, adhere to clinic policies and procedures, and participate in outreach activities that promote the clinic’s mission and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological and neuropsychological evaluations using advanced tools and evidence-based practices in person, via telehealth, or a hybrid format.
• Provide psychotherapy services as clinically indicated.
• Supervise psychometrists and other designated staff to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Document encounters and maintain accurate records in the EHR system.
• Review and deliver psychological reports to clients in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with administrative staff to streamline scheduling and billing processes.
• Uphold HIPAA regulations and ethical standards to safeguard patient confidentiality.
• Meet billable service requirements and contribute to clinic growth through outreach activities.
• Engage in optional research opportunities aligned with clinical interests.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Completion of an APA-approved internship or residency.
• Eligibility for licensure in the State of Georgia.
• Formal training and/or experience in pediatric clinical psychology or neuropsychology.
• Minimum of one year of supervised experience evaluating and counseling children with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
• Strong knowledge of professional standards, ethics, and best practices in clinical care.
• Proficiency with psychological assessment tools, EHR systems, and basic office software.
• Demonstrated ability to produce comprehensive reports efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to collaborate in a team-based environment.
• Preferred: Experience or interest in quantitative EEG, neurofeedback, and familiarity with third-party reimbursement processes (Medicaid and private insurance).
