We are looking for a Veterinary Neurologist to join our team! Residents are encouraged to apply!
About Us:
The Veterinary Medical Center at LWR is a privately owned hospital in Lakewood Ranch, FL. We are located about 1 hour south of Tampa and very close to the cities of Sarasota and Bradenton, FL. Our hospital is approx 18,500 sq ft and contains a busy General Practice as well as a 24/7 Emergency and Specialty service. As a privately owned practice, your input is important to us, and we can add new equipment and make changes quickly when they are needed. The Neurology service will support our emergency department as well as patients referred from our General Practice and our local veterinarians. Our General Practice consists of 9 full-time doctors, and our Emergency and Critical Care service consists of 14 full-time doctors, including two Criticalists. Our ER is very well staffed with no lapses in coverage to care for your patients after hours. Specialties at our hospital include Critical Care, Surgery, Radiology and Ophthalmology.
Our Multidisciplinary Specialty & Emergency Hospital includes 20 exam rooms, 3 lobby's/waiting areas, 4 surgical suites, CT, hyperbaric, high flow, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, mechanical ventilation, ultrasound and more. We also have a fully functional, well-stocked in-house animal blood bank with a wide range of blood products available to support our specialty and emergency services.
Schedule:
* A part-time or full-time schedule is available ranging from 3 to 5 days per week.
Compensation:
* We are offering a base salary + production. No negative accrual.
