Job DescriptionIntegrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Hematology / Oncology for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Job Description & Requirements- Specialty: Hematology / Oncology

Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel
Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed
Required: step down and ONS/ONCC required.
Job SummaryUnder general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with varying health conditions, ranging from simple to complex.
Essential Responsibilities- Manage an assigned group of patients, ensuring quality care delivery.
- Document patient responses to interventions and treatments; update changes in physician orders.
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor and obtain physiological data, intervening as necessary.
- Administer prescribed medications and manage intravenous infusions and blood products.
- Develop and share care plans with patients and families, including discharge instructions.
- Educate patients and families on hospital procedures.
- Refer patient care needs to appropriate personnel and delegate tasks to support staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 1 year of nursing experience.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and procedures.
- Strong organizational, planning, and evaluation skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to address cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
- Basic computer skills.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from a board-approved program.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certification from the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS).
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate from the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS).
