OVERVIEW
Hartford Radiation Oncology Associates, PC, is looking for highly motivated BC/BE Radiation Oncologist to join our dynamic practice in Hartford, CT. This is a partnership track position.
GROUP DETAILS
Our physician group has served Hartford, Connecticut and the surrounding communities for more than 40 years. We see a diverse population of patients with a wide variety of disease entities. We practice at multiple sites throughout Connecticut including: the Helen & Harry Gray Cancer Centers at Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT and Avon, CT; the Connecticut Children's Medical Center, Hartford, CT; the John A. DeQuattro Cancer Center, Manchester Memorial Hospital, Manchester, CT; the Carol and Ray Neag Cancer Center at UConn John Dempsey Hospital, Farmington, CT; the Dr. Sultan Ahamed Radiation Therapy Center, Backus Hospital, Norwich, CT and the Cancer Center at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington, CT. Beginning in November 2026 we will be treating patients at the Connecticut Proton Therapy Center. Our group is affiliated with the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute, which is a charter member of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Alliance. We currently have eleven physicians in the practice.
POSITION DETAILS
We are recruiting a full-time BC/BE Radiation Oncologist.
The ideal applicant has excellent personal and professional acumen and a broad-based skill set in Radiation Oncology. Experience with modern IMRT/IGRT techniques, SBRT and SRS is essential. Experience with Proton Therapy, Adaptive Radiation Therapy, HDR brachytherapy and Radiopharmaceutical therapy is desired. Interest in leadership, quality improvement, and a culture of safety is also highly desired.
