Radiation Oncologist
Valley View Hospital
Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Valley View Hospital is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to join our established, multidisciplinary cancer program serving patients across Colorado’s Western Slope — all while living in majestic Glenwood Springs, nestled between Aspen and Vail, where others vacation and you get to call home.
This opportunity is ideal for a physician who values longitudinal patient relationships, multidisciplinary collaboration, and meaningful community impact within an independent, physician-aligned health system. Here, you can build a thoughtful radiation oncology practice focused on access, quality, and continuity — without the constraints of a large academic or corporate structure.
The Opportunity
- This role offers a balanced and impactful radiation oncology practice, including:
- Comprehensive consultation, treatment planning, and delivery of radiation therapy
- Close collaboration with medical oncology, breast surgery, pulmonology, and other surgical specialties
- Participation in multidisciplinary tumor board and shared clinical decision-making
- Longitudinal patient management throughout treatment and follow-up
- Opportunity to contribute to program growth and regional cancer access expansion across the Western Slope
The practice is structured to support coordinated care, efficient scheduling, and sustainable work-life balance while maintaining clinical excellence.
Integrated Multidisciplinary Cancer Care
The Calaway-Young Cancer Center operates within a Commission on Cancer (CoC)–accredited cancer program and provides coordinated, patient-centered oncology services. Care is delivered through a collaborative model including medical oncology, breast surgery, imaging, genetics, nurse navigation, and supportive services.
Radiation oncology plays a central role in this integrated model, with strong administrative support and engaged physician leadership committed to ongoing program development.

- Established and growing cancer program with committed infrastructure

Qualifications
