Description
Popper PT is a small, women and therapist owned, cash based private practice searching for an experienced part time or full time pelvic health physical therapist in Greenwood Village, Colorado. We share a beautiful, spa-like office space with Fertile Ground Wellness Center; which is a multi-disciplinary functional medicine practice. We see approximately 60% pelvic health with a heavy emphasis on pre-natal/ postpartum care and chronic pelvic pain, 30% orthopedics and 10% temporomandibular joint dysfunction. Our goal is to become a lifelong partner with our patients acting as a primary care for musculoskeletal concerns with an emphasis on pelvic health. We provide trauma-informed, inclusive care and pride ourselves in treating the whole body and the whole person.
We are searching for an experienced pelvic health PT that is well versed in orthopedics and is certified at a minimum of L1 dry needling. Experience treating male pelvic health and pediatric pelvic health is preferred but not required as our clinic does not currently offer services to those patient populations. We are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, trauma informed therapist who goes above and beyond to treat the whole person and the whole body. Experience with internal (transvaginal and transrectal) is preferred but not required for hiring; but willingness to be mentored and learn these treatment strategies is required prior to independent treatments.
Compensation: Depending on experience and credentials. We offer a competitive hourly wage for full and part-time positions with the opportunity to expand to a salaried position after 1 year of employment.
Job Duration: We are seeking a therapist who can begin training and shadowing asap and begin treating independently by April or May. We are seeking a long term fit with someone who would like to grow with our expanding practice.
Mentorship: We believe wholeheartedly in the importance of mentorship throughout the entire career, especially in the area of pelvic health. The mentorship structure will be customized to the employee pending their needs and the abilities of the clinic. This will be mutually agreed upon and clearly stated in the employment contract. At minimum, we will offer the following: quarterly (4 times per year) half day continuing education sessions in the clinic, unlimited shadowing/ co-treatment in the first 1-3 months of employment with ongoing opportunities as needed, unlimited case consults/ review by phone or in person, minimum of once monthly 1-2 hour mentoring sessions that could include but are not limited to:
