FMOL Ascension is expanding its neurology services and is seeking a General Neurologist to join a dynamic outpatient-focused practice just outside Baton Rouge.
This is a brand-new growth position created to meet rising patient demand and support long-term program expansion. You'll have the chance to build your own patient panel while contributing to the development of neurology services in a high-demand, underserved community.

Typical Clinical Exposure
- Stroke / Vascular
- Epilepsy
- Movement Disorders
- Neuromuscular Disorders
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Headache Medicine
- Cognitive & Memory Disorders
Subspecialty-trained neurologists are welcome; all candidates should be comfortable practicing general neurology.
Schedule & Lifestyle
- Monday - Friday, outpatient-focused
- Average 15-18 patients per day
- Call structure and inpatient responsibilities designed with physician work-life balance in mind
Team & Resources
- Collaborative neurology department with neurologist, NP, and additional APP support
- Dedicated clinic staff and medical assistants
- Onsite EEG; EMG through affiliated ambulatory center
- RVU credit provided for interpreted studies
