Description
The University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center, Department of Internal Medicine, seeks a faculty member to join the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. The Sleep program at the University of New Mexico is a multidisciplinary section and has a strong sleep fellowship program and we are seeking an academically focused applicant to join our team. This position is Open Rank/Open Track Clinician Educator. Salary will be commensurate with experience and education.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
a) MD or DO
b) Board eligible/certified in Sleep medicine by date of hire
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants with:
1. Experience/skills in providing exemplary medical care for sleep disorders primarily in adult patients;
2. Experience in teaching residents and medical students
3. Evidence of scholarly activities
4. A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities
