Opportunity InformationSutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our Hematology/Oncology team in San Francisco, California.
This is an outstanding opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with cancer and blood disorders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for oncology care and an interest in supporting patients throughout diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
Position Details
- Full-time, outpatient-based position
- Partner closely with physicians in delivering high-quality, coordinated care
- Perform patient assessments, develop and manage treatment plans, and monitor therapy response
- Provide patient and family education and emotional support throughout the continuum of care
- Collaborate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development
Requirements
- Current California Nurse Practitioner license and furnishing number (or eligibility)
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or ACNP preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Prior oncology or hematology experience preferred; new graduates with strong oncology training and interest are encouraged to apply
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to team-based care
