An inpatient neurosurgery opportunity is now available for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Illinois. This assignment offers a consistent schedule with an established team, perfect for a provider seeking a stable locums role with great work-life balance.

Practice Setting

• Primarily inpatient coverage with some outpatient clinic responsibilities
• Manage a shared inpatient census of 20-25 patients
• Responsibilities include rounding, patient assessments, and care coordination

Schedule

• Consistent 12-hour day shifts
• Long-term, ongoing coverage need with fall start dates still available
• Build a schedule of 15+ shifts per month that works for you

Procedures and Cases

• Focus on neuro interventional cases
• Management of comprehensive stroke patients

Requirements

• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 24 months of neurosurgery experience
• Active Illinois license

Credentialing Requirements

• Please allow approximately 90 days for the credentialing and privileging process
