Nurse Practitioner, Hematology Oncology

End: Approximately 6 weeks
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm
Openings: 1
Travel and Lodging: Provided

Position Overview

• Locum tenens coverage for a symptom management clinic supporting patients experiencing side effects from chemotherapy
• 100 percent outpatient clinical care
• No call
• Estimated volume 12 to 14 patients per day
• No critical care responsibilities
• Will not respond to codes
• Must be able to respond to medication reactions in a nearby infusion area

Site Details

• Hospital privileges at a large academic medical center
• 12 bed symptom management clinic
• Orientation required the day before the first scheduled shift

Required Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner
• Active North Carolina license
• Active North Carolina DEA
• Hematology and oncology experience preferred

Credentialing and Onboarding Items (must be provided)

• Required credentialing documents as requested by the client team
