Hematology and Oncology Locums Physician - Maryland

Join a leading cancer center in Towson, Maryland, for a long-term Hematology-Oncology locums assignment offering a steady schedule and work-life balance.

Highlights

• Long-term assignment with consistent coverage needs
• 4-day clinic week, Monday through Thursday
• Manageable volume of 12 to 15 patients per day
• Facility willing to wait for Maryland licensure

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient coverage
• Adult patient population
• Supported by an inpatient APP during daytime hours
• Epic Beacon EMR system

Schedule

• Full-time or at least 2 weeks per month
• Clinic Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• One weekday of inpatient consults with night call
• Weekend call only every 4th weekend

Cases and Procedures

• General Hematology and Oncology: new consults and follow-ups
• Routine procedures within standard HemOnc scope
• Balanced clinic and inpatient caseload

Requirements

• Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
• Active or in-process Maryland license (client will wait)
• BLS, DEA, and CSR certifications
