Description
Mercyhealth System in Janesville, Wisconsin, is currently seeking a Board-Certified Gynecologic Oncologist to join our expanding Cancer Service Line at Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center.This is a unique opportunity to build and grow a comprehensive Gynecologic Oncology program within a fully integrated, award-winning regional health system serving Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.
Opportunity:
Range $523,000-$660,000
- Build your practice as an employed physician with the support of operational leaders and a strong multidisciplinary oncology team.
- Full-time Gynecologic Oncology practice
- Primary location: Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center-Janesville
- One full day or two half days of clinic at Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center Clinic in Walworth, WI
- Opportunity to expand gynecologic oncology services in areas with limited subspecialty access
- Active participation in the continued expansion of the cancer service line
- Interest and support for growing clinical trial footprint
- Strong referral network across the Mercyhealth system
- EPIC EMR
- Vast multi-specialty referral sources

Departmental Scope:
- Comprehensive gynecologic cancer care
- Multidisciplinary collaboration with Medical and Radiation Oncology
- Minimally invasive and robotic (da Vinci) surgery
- Chemotherapy management and coordination
- Integrated cancer services across the Mercyhealth system
- Mercyhealth System Cancer Services

Qualifications:
MD/DO board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Successful completion of a 3-4 year Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology
Experience preferred with chemotherapy, radiation therapy collaboration, minimally invasive surgery, and robotic-assisted surgery
Commitment to patient-centered care, research, and program development
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Compensation & Benefits:
Mercyhealth offers a highly competitive initial salary guarantee, leading to a production-based model after the first year, along with an outstanding benefits package:
- Range $523,000-$660,000
- Retention/Sign-On bonus
