- Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry Fellowship starting July 1, 2023
Description
The Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry Fellowship focuses on the clinical assessment and management of patients with neurologically based cognitive, behavioral, and emotional disorders, using neurobehavioral examinations and other clinical tools. Fellows gain experience in outpatient neurology and rehabilitation clinics, the inpatient neurology service, and the Memory and Aging Program.
This is a one-year fellowship emphasizing clinical and educational activities with exposure to research. A second year, dedicated to research, may be available with approval. The program is UCNS-accredited. Core faculty include Drs. Sarah Kremen, Zaldy Tan, Sarah Kim, Golnaz Yadollahikhales, and Saurabh Sharma.

Requirements
- MD or DO
- Successfully completed a program in neurology or psychiatry in an ACGME-accredited residency program, or Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of
- Canada (RCPSC)-accredited residency program
- Board-certified or board-eligible in neurology or psychiatry
- Required to obtain a California medical license prior to the start of the fellowship
